After rewatching every entry again, i'd had a hard time to decide on the winner (aka decide if this one is it) This one is not the faceraping brainfucker, but it's more elegant, has more design (#subjective) That said, it loses some momentum at ~4:39 and some more towards the end. And THAT said, it's fuckin overall impressive =)
this demo creates a really dense mood - not least thanks to the fantastic soundtrack. i appreciate the last scene with the breaking skull. among the best cocoon prods (if not the best).
There are so many cool scenes in this demo, I like the ending in particular.

this is really a party version ^^ given 5 hours after the deadline... lots of things were made from scratch during the party... It use realtime GI for the lighting and pbr for materials. final version coming in some days/weeks/years..if a find some motivation :) need better synchro, and i must fix the light too intense in some parts...and many other things.....

This is absolutely fantastic demo! The dark atmosphere and visuals, together with a brilliant soundtrack makes me wanna watch this almost endlessly :) It was very hard to decide which demo was better in Revision 2015 compo, this or the FLT/CNCD-entry. For me both are winners, but this got atleast a well deserved 2nd place! A lower achievement in the compo would have been a total fiasco! :)

Yep, best cocoon demo ever. It seems you have finally got your renderer to a balanced level with great scenes and direction and totally fitting audio. The gritty-ness is just lovely ;) You and FLT/CNCD totally battled it out with very different approaches and made the party so so fucking complete.

Twister-scroller was fresh.
Possibly my favorite art direction of the PC compo. Very well done overall and I certainly loved the effects used. Music was fantastic. I suspect the point gap can best be explained by the energy levels. Watching from home, the mood is absolutely perfect. But I wonder if I'd feel the same at the party place surrounded by a bunch of folk.

The Soundtrack is the most-massive-demo-maker i have ever witnessed!
The Effects are gorgeous, i guess you used the light with the same thing i had in my music, most people still mistake it as heavy reverb, but is a 2*sine on some -1...1-field, clamped -> MasterVolume!, as an Envelope-Input! ;)
Also the Global-Illumination, which i have in my 8k aswell, looks oh so damn superb-pretty with some proper textures!

I've watched this multiple times now, and man... I LOVE that soundtrack! It's such an awesome combination of soundscape and heavy bass and progression and perfect fit/sync for the visuals (and vice versa)... it blows my mind.

Fixed my PC crash by enabling "TdRLevel" in registry and setting it to 5 seconds. (I have no idea why it was disabled) Now, only the demo crash, not my entire PC. Progress! Is a final version still to be expected? Days, weeks and months have passed by. Now we are up to "years" I guess? ;)

For the unreadable greetings twister :) But it is paced very slowly, close to the point of aggravation. Some shadowmap glitches, but I understand it's still the partyversion I'm looking at.

both of your artwork ist really really NICE great work, but it's not cocOON with the Biedermeier interieur Porn-Room that destroys the cube and the sphear, its DSM5 (selector) that upgrades the mens to gunman or "soldiers" as the military would say after his women stupid enough aggree to the punsishment because she thinks that her whichcraft killed the first cube. chain letter with as many "soldiers" as possible. :(
