Awesome in many ways: music, design, mood, everything \o/
Typical raymarching, many scenes, filter and colors makes it look good, music is slow but creates mood.

Wonderful! The music is ace - wonderful chordprogression and melodies.
Typical raymarching indeed, but the consistency of the different scenes along with the pleasant music make this easily up-thumbable.

Lovely stuff though the typography is not up to par with the rest of the intro. Never before have I enjoyed watching fractals sinking into chocolate milk this much.

I like the opening scene, reminds me of some turn of the century 64ks. Other than that this was mostly seen-before. Some nice production details in the music, but ultimately not my taste.

It was too slow paced for my taste. I mean, either go all the way and make it chill or spice it up a bit. To be honest the music wasn't really my thing. Overall execution was pretty nice. Great work on the details. I'm unsure about the whole open/close-effect but thumb up for the effort. Stuff like this is impossible to gibve a piggie.
I like the “cathedral scene”! The rest is of course pretty great, but a bit déjà vu – fractals. Congrats though :)

Quite nice and tastefully done, thanks. I didn't quite like the "border effect" though, as it pulled attention away from where stuff was happening to the edges of the screen - a plain gradient would have worked better, I think.

That was surprisingly good for a "rotate object at center of screen" type of demo. :) Very stylish visuals and great color-scheme, making old effects pleasant to watch. I also liked the border effect, although that may be the oldschooler in me. Oh, and LOL @Preacher's characterization. :-D

Awesome colour scheme. Everything either looks like chocolate or crunchy honeycomb bits. I love it.

Well, what can I say about productions of my long time scene mate Virgill... it rocks. ;)
Nothing special as we are aware of his contributions quality since ages, but honestly in the 90s I did not know he got coding skills aswell.
This "one-man-shows" he comes up with on regular base nowadays are really awesome. The music is just insane and the visual effects going along with it are just like a perfect trip into modern computer art.
Hard to believe this one is a small sized production.
Keep that great work up, Jochen. A well-deserved first place @ Nordlicht 2014.

This is indeed a lovely production done in only 8KB. Very impressive sphere/raymarching with nice distortion filters and beautiful casting shadows, with an awesome soundtrack. I love the mood in this production, as well.

Very good rendering and sound quality (especially in the subtleties in the lead, hard to do with 4klang). Not the most imaginative visuals but good enough :). Colors aren't too attractive unfortunately kinda bad colors, and the harsh tonalities/contrast lessens the visual quality a bit.
