good one
My favorite Panda's are back in town! :) Hi guys! Nice one again! :)
thumb up for the gfx! looked really nice on the bigscreen.
Some really nice scenes here.
For the music!
the greetings part <3
for the awesome scenes!
I really liked this.
That bookshelf! :)
Outstanding! Amazing textures, perfect concept! Massive atmosophere (like the demos in the old times). Will watch this zillion times again.
Not very interesting in technical sense, being a pretty much a 3D flyby thingy. But at least it is very nice 3D, graphics and music at that ... Admittably seeing this prod was like eye-bleach as it was shown (in the compo) after that horrible X-Men demo ...
very good 3d and lighting
Standard flyby 101. Probably good in it's genre, but totally not my cup of etc etc. Very generic and 64k-ish music too. Some nice details though, the greetings part was clever.
What break said. Loved the greeting part.
Ha, the first good (imho) Panda Cube demo. Still a fly-by, but a decent one at that. Nice twist on the greetings part as well.
Awesome greets, and enjoyable in general.
Very well done.
the book!!
Yes, it is very beautiful !
But what about the code ?? Sometimes I have 1 image per second on my PC which is not a bad machine! I can play the last games in full HD!
I saw some demos on the Atari ST or Amiga with a textured cube... 8Mhz... THIS is code ! :)
Congrats for the direction and beauty but please try to optimize code...

Absolutely not my style. Siding with break.
Thanks for attention :)
flyby friends ^^ ;) lots of works here. the two scene with metaballs are totally glitched (juste the metaballs) and perhaps 1 or 2 fps (nvidia card).
Very enjoyable!
Except for the book shelf this didn't quite catch me, so I give it a pigface.
Call me oldschool but I realy enjoyed it... Many nice ideas and very well executed... The Greetings part was a nice idea and also the whole theme... Thanks again Panda Cube for a very nice demo!
The first Panda Cube demo I truly enjoyed! Sure it's another fly-by, but it's an excellent one :)
Books Greetings !!!
that redish particle effect owned. some really nice 3d work there
Metaball Bats
Techs looks better, rendering looks less good than your previous prods. Something to do with the glow and the absence of the linear+hdr shebang (that or something went wrong down the shading pipeline).
Nice prod BUT it crashes if VSync is disabled.
Crossifre AMD 7970 here.

Very original greetings part! The book and the setting was very nice too, but apart from that it just didn't look very good and was too much a simple fly-by. Weak thumb up.
Excellent.
cute and nice greetings :)
Nice rendering, but I was a bit bored. Somehow it lacked something...
I loved this one, i think it's your best demo since flux
rulez
Not too bad of a fly-by. The red metaball-thingy should probably emit light and/or cast shadows...
My favourite Panda demo so far. Very well done fly-by.
nice scenes/3d, but didn't touch me at all
You managed to turn a very good concept and a nice setting into a dull fly-by. I really like the idea, with the book, the magic... But you fail at story-telling.
I don't like your camera paths. Why your camera is always moving? You should really think of the progression before making the demo, and think of the intensity level of each shot. You bring life to the scene, make objects fly, and you break everything by showing a static bookshelf. Try to add intensity to your scenes by having fast cuts instead of boring turning-around-an-object shots.
Also, for each shot, you keep one thing in mind: Where will the spectator look? Try to guide their attention. When you have flying objects, the audience will look at them. You have an interesting idea with the painting, but it's wasted because the shot doesn't highlight it.
Throw away your camera and do it again. Throw it away another time, and do it a third time. It should be better.
So, work more on your design, decide what exact story you want to tell. Then work on the progression, adding more and more intensity, polish your demo, and you could have something really good.
Oh, and if you don't have more content, make your demo a bit shorter. And change your music: It doesn't really fit.

Since you are considering a final, might I suggest a different font for the book? Time New Roman just doesnt "fit" the "age", you should go more for such a blackletter type font:

what i say every year. i really love you guys, but it's simply not my cup. thumb is only for the quality of models, textures and code.
You guys have a very healthy sense of humour: "Flying By Vol. II by Cocoon" - an extra THICK book on the shelf, haha .. I remember you had similar inventive ways of greeting the scene in previous demos, please keep doing so!
Some of the scenes seem a bit static despite all sorts of stuff flying around in the air, but the modeling is truly beautiful! The music also fits very nicely with the nice synch and even full stops, only to play on again ... NICE! :)

nice demo, good quality :)
Technically superb. As SunSpire said some scene are a little bit too static. Anyway you did an awesome job.
well, it's not that bad, but not good either
similarly to cocoon, pandacube will never make a good demo, because they miss the essence of it

looks great. fucking lovely greets. music is also nice. but the prod lacks soul imho. motivational thumb ;)
Very nice materials and rendering tech. Also solid modelling, texturing and great music.
very nice, great graphics / modelling / texturing etc.
forgot the thumb
Good concept, good naming, ace engine, ace models/textures, some few effects!
GREAT! Deserved podium-placement!
I like that you did something totally different compared to your last demos! :)
I guess i´ll show this to my 6-years-old nephew today, he already asked me if i could teach him how to make demos...time to show him some really good new stuff i say! :)

Stunning!! :)
It's a bit boring, but a solid thumb up for the quality of the content and assets here :)
Best Panda Cube demo so far! Everything is beautiful and sounds really nice, but the scenes are too predictable and without any surprises.
But damn it's look good :)

...it looks... (aaargh fååkin tasøterbræt rod)
Massiv!
lovely demo. awesome graphics and perfect musical score. best panda cube demo so far!
Thumb up for some nice ideas!
great demo. excellent greeting part :)
Hood soundtrack but also very boring.
got to say - i kinda like this! could do with a bit more action.
crashes after a few frames (win 7, gf 660 here)
my god that is inspicering
Looks awesome and the music is lovely too. I enjoyed it and the thumb is for the greetings part (despite the "Conspriacy" typo :D).
very good
it's good, yet a tad boring
Looks like the Hogwarts' scene is doing well! The greetings part was really fun and I liked how the portrait on the wall morphed into an imp. I just wish the music would've been more fitting since it didn't match the medieval visuals. Good work on the rendering, as usual.
forgotten thumb
the music is ace. go go response-o gadget.

awesome and superb! i tend to see this in a SDS quality! :)
Very cool , though my pc couldn't catch up in some scenes and I had to watch the video for a smooth experience (my pc runs nearly all of those flt demos pretty smoothly)
The creepy guy gives me the jibblies, but other than that a solid prod!
Unique atmosphere
I love it!!
