this is technical but a bit boring, something is missing like real synchro between each effects & Full pictures graphics. it's pity!
Best Cocoon demo I've seen thus far. Instead of being a mostly static "hi, we have a kewl 3D engine and talented modellers/artists" flyby, this time there are some nice things, in addition to the well-executed modelling and 3D engine codework. :)

Like in "new age" of Cocoon demos, this is another great extra polished 3D fly by gem. Greatly picked dark colors and music. I likde "stochastic" more but this is great demo too. Maybe you make only 3D flybys but in outstanding quality.
Technically flawless, but doesn't really take benefit of the dramatic potential of the soundtrack.
Whoa, very very nice. Though, guys, next time try to have TLAA or TXAA (nVidia should have HW support IIRC). All those thin constructs flickering while moving was no fun for the eye.
Still too much basic FPS level flybying. Weak thumb up for obviously good production values, nice modelling, pleasing colours etc.

A good demo, but without hardly any development compared to recent cocoon demos. I watched this three times and still don't remember almost anything about it. I think the colors are terrible. They create no contrast, everything is just a hazy mush. Not that there's anything wrong with that in some cases, but here to me it just communicates "these visuals and models aren't worth looking at". I do like the colors on the effects though, at least there they do manage create some contrast. The effects themselves were quite ass kicking too. The music I didn't like one bit.

colors + visuals were awesome, but the sync was a bit janky. The music had all the right elements, but they didn't seem to work together at all (especially the sporatic kick that wanted everyone to know it was there while the other elements took the backseat when they shouldn't have). All in all it worked well enough tho, and was definitely the best in the compo.

I love how your visual quality as well as the animation gets better with every single release. Stunning! Too bad revision's projector ate the lower 20% of the brightness range, many small nuances got lost.

Extremely well done as always. I really liked the scene with the robot arms and the reflective scene. The cloudy volume effects looked great on stream, but something about them was not as conviencing on second viewing. Ran a bit slow on my computer but, still very cool demo. Definitely thumbs up.

massive respect for the visual fidelity of this. in realtime at 1080p it looked so good - barely a pixel out of place (aside from a few minor temporal aa issues on the thin lines), it could be a render. the quality of the artwork / texturing, the materials and postfx is really excellent.

Only complaint I have is that some scenes are somewhat to the dark side - at least I had trouble seeing some of the great details during the showing at Revision.

This was absolutely gorgeous. Although I wouldn't mind seeing a different theme in your next production (even it's back to Shad-style :)) this was executed to perfection.
The rendering and look is so super polished. As an example, the final frame looks like someone first rendered a frame and then imported into photoshop to do a few hours of work on it before pasting it back into the demo, but that is actually how it looks straight from the engine!

I think I need a killer soundtrack and/or clever direction and/or some human touch (I'd love a modern day Kasparov) to really enjoy a fly-by. This (with all its perfected clinical cyber-isms) is lacking all of those.
This is a very solid production. Each scene looks super polished, the effects and the synching are especially nice and I love the synth sounds used for the music too.

One of the few enjoyable demos in the pc demo compo. Beginning is great, then it started to bore me a bit but still kept my interest. Nice looking visuals and excellent music.
"This application has failed to start because of dxgi.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Observatory.nfo said it requires DirectX 11. Bah to Windows XP Pro. SP3's DirectX 9.0c. :P

this is definitely the best cocoon demo so far, unfortunately cocoon demos are just simply not good enough. sorry, find another hobby or whatever (ok, joking, do whatever you want actually, as far as it doesnt hurt the others).
