Got to Phobos Anomaly and the bosses until the game froze on VICE.
What is most surprising is that the original levels are actually there!
Only about 20% of the main geometry is cut (some levels end a bit earlier and some miss areas) But aside from that, I could tell the areas apart pretty easily.
Frame rate is at the limits, any worse than this and it would be pretty unplayable.

Not exactly doom or playable, but a great effort nonetheless.

only playable if you know the original doom by heart, but technically this is of course a bomb..
angled walls & sprites in a raycaster is something I've only seen so far in Numen / Taquart on a800 in the 8 bit scene. so pretty cool in this regard. Also not unplayable :)
visually it's horrible though. Textures should've created in regard to the engine's capabilities, I mean smaller texture resolution would've helped a lot with the aliasing (disappearing vertical/horizontal texture features). So the player orients itself easyer. Also it tries very hard to emulate the doom palette with 4 colors which simply does not work. I'd have go for a high contrast 4 color gradient instead, gray / brownscale fex.

Really got that Doom-like feeling, I played through quite a bit till it suddenly stopped accepting commands on the level with the swastika. Was really enjoying it too.
