Played this a lot with C64. This port doesn't seem so good looking though :/

Is it again a reverse enginering from the st version thing? :)
This has to be one of my favorite games ever. And I mean EVER. A decent port, for sure. One thing that is essential to gameplay, though, is not implemented. While falling, creating and destroying blocks rapidly won't slow the character down. I haven't seen any of the hidden bonuses present in the arcade original, but it's still a good effort, so thumbs up!
As I played on, major gameplay issues became more and more apparent. The electric urchin behavior is annoying, to say the least. You can't really tell which way they're going to go once you destroy the object they circle.
Also, bonus fairies should gravitate towards our character. Right now it feels like they are just flying about. Not being able to head-bump the blocks which aren't directly over the one we're standing on is a major problem.
Block creation distance is off. It's far too easy to create a block two fields from our character. This should be achievable only by standing on the very edge of our own block.
Flames can't be lowered using our wand. I don't know how many levels this port has, but later on this becomes pretty useful. Also, fireballs are really slow, while some enemy attacks are almost too fast [fire spitting enemy in round 7 - with clunky controls it's a challenge to build our way up without having a block blasted from underneath us].
The list goes on, but all of the above I'm writing as a gamer, and I've been playing the arcade version for as long as I can remember.
