Exin: I got it to work in VICE by starting the .prg directly, but since it was display where you type load... I was not sure if it's actually the code or a starting address where the string will be stored. But, when I try by loading it from a .d64, I could clear the screen and type run, then seen it.. (at a fix position on the screen).

I don't see something special in here, or did I miss the point? By the way, loading the X-Reg with the Stringlength first and use DEX saves you two Bytes and 2 Cycles (CPX is not needed).

I'm with cryer on this one. It's too basic to get anything out of it. The concept is new(-ish), but the execution lacks any kind of insight or entertainment. A real effect that looks roughly the same on both platforms would be something, but this is really nothing to write home about. :)

Neat hack, but something more visually interesting would be nice :)

I'll just drop a subtle hint here that there's a certain machine that starts execution at the end of the binary. I feel something could be thrown together for Revision.. :)

...I would like to see a binary, running on BOTH machines with the same Bytes. ;)
