This is a strange, but at the same time unique experience. I cannot say that i enjoyed it. I am not even sure if this wants to invoke joy at all. It must have been a shitload of work to do this, I can appreciate that and the fact that you stay true to your way of expressing yourself. But to really appreciate this work and enjoy myself watching it, i guess i miss the connection to this kind of stuff.
allthough this has barely any connection to demoish stuff whatsoever anymore i cant help but respect the nosfe for his art.
atmosphere
Analog film :). But 7 minutes? Have mercy! Also, I just wish that these things had a bit more narrative structure. Even other noise prods like the ones by Kosmoplovci (at least the ones I've seen) have some semblance of coherent narrative. At least something that can be interpreted as a narrative of sorts.
elfan, well it's 5 short films combined, haven't had a chance to screen them at a movie theater before so I chose to show them all instead of waiting for a few years to get another chance.
Masterpiece, just beautiful.
What is the origin of the soundtrack(s) by the way, is it Grey Park stuff? Available anywhere?

on 35mm film the audio is on optical track which is besides the image frames. (well, there can be digital stuff there too but i'm not doing that)
Icons invitation, Finlandia and It Was A Home pretty much have the soundtrack by random effects on film. the 3 b/w carbon copy shorts are made so that the composition for both audio and visual were made at the same time, i tried to figure out what kind of rhytms etc would work on the optical track..
due to the nature of the soundtracks they are not available anywhere except the video.

I can admire this from a technical standpoint and the work that obviously went into it. However, I can't say I enjoyed watching it.

I am grateful for that.
this is just crazy!
hm. not bad and not great.
Excellent stuff from my favorite drunk-dancing partner :-)
interesting
I liked it a lot. I remember that the arrow in blue background at 1:57 was a "logo" in 80's Greek tv commercials, where did this segment came from?
i guess it was from the finlandia vodka ad which is also used there, i've been wondering where the ad has been shown since in finland it's not allowed to advertize spirits on tv/movie theaters.. i guess it's been shown in greek then :)
