Not exactly eye-candy, but a nice introduction to Linux size-coding ! Maybe a more sexy color scheme can help. 32 bits version worked here (Linux 3.1.9-2 i686, distrib is ArchLinux)

yeah, afaik that would require proper initialization and shutdown of the SDL libs, which is basically out of the question in something this small :(
