This is a quite good old effect, simple but efficient.
When have you coded this one ?
When have you coded this one ?
nice. how does it work?
BackSpace: last winter (~ nov/dec)
rudi: it's a feedback effect. actually there was a thread about this last year ( migablitter: How does this tornado effect work ? ) where I tried to explain it

one of best demoscene effect
nice to convert/explain good old effects...
hmm... any valid reason you didn't use classic zip format?
I get this error repeated infinitely:
[---] tkopengl: unresolved extension function "glBindFramebuffer" called.
[~~~] tkopengl: GL error 1280 ("GL_INVALID_ENUM") occured after call to "glDrawBuffer".
[~~~] tkopengl: GL error 1280 ("GL_INVALID_ENUM") occured after call to "glBindTexture".
[~~~] tkopengl: GL error 1280 ("GL_INVALID_ENUM") occured after call to "glEnable".
[~~~] tkopengl: GL error 1280 ("GL_INVALID_ENUM") occured after call to "glDisable".
Too bad, I really wanted to see this!

What hooverphonique said. I can't be arsed to go looking for some random unarchiving file for some obscure format, so no demo for me.
Rulez. With nice tune would be ossom.
7z - is not random, dudes. It is the BEST compression proggy atm with all the plug-ins available for Koqueror/TC, or even "W" environement..

..and the latest WinZip extracts .7z files, so yeah.
effects!
Great old effect. WinRAR opens the archive just fine..
one of my favourite demo effect !!! <3
This thumb is for the reverse engineering, rather than the intro itself :)
I've such effect laying on my hd as well, expect i used a glow filter in mine, never used it. I think the the blitter tornado technique (grid with different shifting to simulate a rotation) comes from
this intro.
this intro.
okish

Proper implementation of one of my fabourite effects. Working source of this would be really educational stuff!
effekt!
@xeron: the reverse engineering part was really fun :) amiiigaaa !
here's the sourcecode (has been online since dec. 2010 but is also easy to extract from the intro .tkx pak file, if you know how to use a debugger ;))
@hruhru: sry I have not seen your request earlier but why did not you ask for the src in your e-mail or is there really going to be a 3d modelling app ? :-)

if this prod is a fake, some info is false or the download link is broken,
do not post about it in the comments, it will get lost.
instead, click here !
This is a remake of the famous Amiga blitter noise effect which was, AFAIK,
first seen in this prod.
I was just curious how it would look like in hi-color.
Since it was (again) coded in some exotic language (the actual "exe" / packed source is 2585 bytes)
I had to include the runtime.
Don't expect too much, it's just a little display hack that was dusting
away on my HD.
