shifter, it is ff only. for downloaded version you need to open about:config and set security.fileuri.strict_origin_policy to false.

2003 called, plus I didn't like the music that much.
Nice visual content and music.
But I assume its really slow seeing as it doesn't run on my machine, and the effects does not seem that heavy. Guess Java is slow? What the hell do I know? Good work anyhow :)

What rare said, except it was pretty solidly made and very watchable, so I'll thumb it up.
But.. a supposedly standards based demo, that only works on a single browser (and then it seems only if you disable a security setting)? Without the promise of good cross-platform compatibility, what the hell is the point in a browser demo?
I'll leave that out of my judgement on the demo though, as I have no clue where the responsibility lies :)

psonice: "emerging technologies" is the key here. WebGL isn't standardized yet, so fragmenting (much like ATI vs NVIDIA back in the day) is bound to happen for a while still.
psionice; web browsers are not made for downloadable content. the security changes are not needed if you run the demo from web.
it works only on firefox because of the dsp code which i couldn't figure out how to do for chrome. of course it would have been possible to prerecord the data, but.. luckily webgl itself works very nicely on both.

Rale: ok, thanks for clearing that up. And good to hear that it's the audio stuff causing the issues I guess. Well, not good, because there isn't a standard (so far as I know) for it yet, and you get a choice of this or flash :( But good that it's not the basic html/javascript/webgl side.

Thumbs up for the black and white plasma-cloud-effect or whatever it was. That really looked great and left the impression to be different. The rest was solid and well executed but, especially the music, was mostly "playing safe".
