Same here on XP
In Dosbox I get nothing even with maximum cycles. A black screen. Maybe it takes so long I have to run it on the real thing?
doesn't seem to work here on XP
Works nice (XP users, click 2 times on minimized application on the taskbar), but needs lotsa CPU.
I forgot I had XP here. LOL
It worked. Slowly. With stripes.
But still nice looking.
Mandelblub for 256b is definitelly something new.

slow but wow!
Nothing on Dosbox sadly
Works quite well under Virtual PC though
Very cool, man! Keep it up!
Nice one. You could also try the Mandelbox, it should requires slightly less space to implement.
:)
Cool idea for 256B intro, but technically (most probably also visually) can be much better. Nice to see you are going to release final version, good luck.
Empty lines are killing the eyes, without them it doesn't look bad.
DOSBox doesn't support p6 instructions (fcomip).

Mandelblurring in 256: now that's coding!
slow but super cool
For your final, I recommend you doubling the pixel rather than print half of them, if there's some room for it :)

you'll always have the first mandelbulb in 256 bytes :)
rotation can be a lot smaller and can make space for colors or speed (polynomial instead of sincos(atan()))

rrrola: I'd be curious to see your take on a 256b mandelbulb

Too choppy/slow on my Intel Q8200 system with updated, old Windows XP Pro. SP3. :(
