Nice 2D effects !
Nice firstie. Liked the end scene with the alphablended dots in the background. Music is a bit monotonous.

First Demo - First Victory, gratulations, was overall enjoyable, music was in my opinion compared to the rest not so nice, but well, overall seen.. Quite a nice product :)
Simple effects presented well. Music was a bit too compressed, sounds like loudness stood in for melody in parts but the intro pads were nice, the sync to the visuals throughout was great, and the heartbeat at the end was a cool way to go out.

I remember Zoom watching this on the compo machine and the particle writer part being shown - I thought this was one of the other groups because it was too good to be a newcomer. Thank God I was wrong.
My advice? DON'T get a musician. Your music was good enough, and hey, why not try a few more times until it gets even better? It worked so far... ;)

It kind of irks me that people shower his ok first demo with ridiculous over-the-top complements and lofty savior-of-the-scene rhetoric. It's waaaay too early for that. :)
And before you get a musician, get rid of those stupid looking let's-not-clear-the-backbuffer effects. Oh, and fonts that don't suck would be neat too. Or even better, don't use fonts in such a bland way at all.

The music was fairly crude indeed, but I have to second Gargaj on that topic. Additional criticism would be your choice & usage of fonts, a couple of old effects that really need additional spice to be halfway interesting; and the endpart that dragged on for way too long. But heck, this is a cool debut. Keep going!

I found some "yeti" bugs. At the last part, there's missing one side of one or two cubes. At the end, when only the "function x" text should be shown, the "roating cubes" scene is still playing. This last one happened one time only.

On the bright side the attention on post processing make the general looking very decent.
