to clear things out a bit. the platform was A3000, 030/25Mhz, 8MB of memory and OCS. So all the scenes are in 16 colors except the last scroll which has 32 colors

Finally a demo which can use the capabilities of my expanded A2000, that alone deserves a free thumb up. And another, because it just rocks.
Unpleasant to watch and to listen to.
From the technical point of view this one is amazing. But I don't like the visual style very much, as well as the heavy music.

68030/25? Ok, then I am not impressed anymore. It should be much faster. Although I have to admit that the original Amiga 3000 had very slow memory.

Had its moments, although the tune was not my thing. Rather its implementation in a low platform - compared what's used for the AGA+060 configs - is remarkable.
Greetings screen looked nice, the 3d objects not really, the zoomer was pretty neat again.

I was baffled about what kind of Amiga was running this demo, as the compo slide only stated "Amiga". Now that I'm disappointed that it wasn't an A500 doing a major technological breakthru, I still thumb it up for the music and the visual impression.

Plain A3000 isn't that souped up machine. Imagine how long it took to see anything like this on more powerful machines first... if someone would have done it around the release of a3000 :P

Its impressiveness is seriously spoilt by the fact it has been presented on a 25MHz 68030, but then again, it's not restricted to showing static 3D objects in the middle of the screen.

Chunky music as per usual (wooo!). I'm not that worried about it being OCS requiring a faster processor than an A500 - Although would have been amazing to see smooth on a stock 1200 with mem. But still a short and enjoyable prod. :-)

Först höll jag på att skriva "Mökigt ljud men annars helt omej", men sen såg jag att det blott är frågan om OCS-demo vilket bör uppmuntras så visst för fan.
Reminds me of the old times when everybody was making "make 680x0 a 2x2 GPU" demos. But hey, framerate like here on 020 (sadly in winuae, 'approximate A1200') I've seen sometimes on 2x2 demos run on real 060.

Works great and fast on my Amiga500 + with the aca500+ACA1221(28mhz+8fast ram).
Nice graphics/effects that works really well with the metal music.
As I currently have an ACA500+ combined with a 020-accelerator hooked up to my A500, I've been considering trying some optimizations for the demo (and fixing that annoying audio filter bug). Better late than never for a 100% version? :D
Amazingly stylishly done; the graphics production completely fits with the music, which also is 100% solid.
