Stay ATARI
very cool demo!
* Intro + Menu: cool, esp the spectrum + multi coloured sprites screen
* Saluts Atari STe (Atari Legend & MJJ Prod): just a simple screen.
* Tribute to Blitter and DMA (Paradize): hhmm, keep learning..
* Extravagance (No Extra): very nicely designed. but ste has a blitter. bigger vectors, please!! rotozoomer is also not up to today's standards
* Visual Unity (Paradize): cool, and stylish.. but again.. why the small vectors? and use dither patterns for raster backgrounds instead of interlacing.. cool use of wireframe allround, though. props!
* Mr. Fourtyseven (BiTS): *pukes* one of solo's worst imho
* Zero to Twenty: Sixty Seconds (KüA): cool, esp the ASCII spiral scroller. short and to the point. style!
* Tuttugandi (DHS): a treat from the masters of overscan. great stuff!
* Cubes Ribbons and 3D Flybys (Paradox): too slow and i hate the pillars, but some very nice ideas here (the greetings)
* Roxotro (RGCD): stylish (great gfx!), but i kinda missed the point here? it's a shooter inside the demo? anyway, the effects are -ooolllddd-
* Zickdisk 2.5 (Paradize & Elite): nice musics, minimal effects (4096 colours are where??)
* $14 (Excellence in Art): great music, nice use of vectors, but minimal as fuck.
* Direct Color Zoomer (Paradox): obviously very hi-tech
Hidden screens: cool for 1991.. but these days.. hmm.
* Reset screen (Paradox): cool gfx
overall: amazing amount of screens in this demo. a joy to watch! :D

ra: yeah, i did. i obviously cannot judge it.. ;)
Wow, it rocks, a huge enjoyment. Thanks guys.
I like the menu idea and lovely port of that amiga tune. There are some nice parts in this one. I missed three parts because they didn't worked on emulator. I will download video now.
I had a good time watching this.
A great way to kill an hour, thanks!
Good.
Some good and some less good, but definitely a lot of content; and I did enjoy the 199x style screens very much :)
probably the most awaited demo of the decade. some really nice screens, among one shitro from BITS. virtual piggy for a guy who allowed this entry to celebrate 20 years of STe.
Is ok.
I especially enjoyed the gfx and overall the demo is well designed. Congratulations!
epic production. really enjoyable to watch so many different styles in one.
So much creativity delivered in a single package is overwhelming.
That's an active scene we got here, no question! :)
Congrats to all the contributors and respect to Paradox for organizing and putting it together.

ATARI ! Cool !
Put a massive smile on my face. Thanks guys!
Not picked a favourite screen yet.

Respect, would love to see something like this for an OCS-Amiga anniversary :)
Nice compilation.
ATARI
Nice one!
Heh. Not that I am a general ST fan, but this (rather lengthy) megademo had some really tough oldskool screens and effects. Kudos for those! Seems that STE was rather powerful beast when coded properly.
break: too late, it was over 2 years ago. ;)
very entertaining!
Great!
mr_spiv: You can find some other nice STe demos on the
=Atari%20STe&order=thumbup]prod list.
Check "More or Less Zero", or "Braindamage" for example. (you can also check mine "Save the Earth", but it's not a tech demo so you will probably not feel the "powerful beast" in it :D)

damn, bb code fail :(
How do you insert an url with [] in the path ? Some % something ?

MASSIVE.
Some average screens, lousy vectors and stuff. Expected alot more and coding wise rather than recycling old effects. Comparing this to nostalgig-o-demo....looks like this is Paradize demo with some quest screen rather than "20 years Atari STE" demo. Piggie.
Into every life, a little moredhel must fall...
lot of nice screens!
great
abscess: That's why I said "AN anniversary", doesn't have to be the 20th :)
very nice!
Lots of nice screens, some better than others and some effects were lost in design but overall a good 1hr show that I really enjoyed. Too bad that coder's block stopped me from being a part!
My favourites were pdx, dhs and kua.

Actually I was trying to top Dbug's boring perforce logs by pasting a boring irc log.
I think you managed quite well, congratulation for your achievement :D
Thumbs for the No Extra, DHS, Paradize and EIA screens. very Amigaaa-ish (hihi)... good ole 16bit times ;)
some cool prods, I especially like EIA's one... dunno why...
very nice ! Beautifuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuul !
Some very nice sccreens in there, although some could have been done on the STFM I feel. But that's OK, this is more of a community effort
Oops, thumbup, no pig from from
Nice !
Nice. 20 year old Mad Max tunes too
=)
:-D it roxxx!
40 mins of massive.
Like earx said. Very pleased to see such a global prod on STe after so many years. Many really amazing effetcs / screens. Lokre specially RoXotro =p
Nice work and good idea to release such kind of comemorative demo
for the jester cover by Gwem
It is le totally awesome :)
A bit of a mixed bag but very enjoyable.
Very entertaining. Love it :-)
Some great stuff, some crappy stuff... overall a neat demo!
time passes too quickly!!. ;).. awesome big prod!
Doesn't work with Mist... Garbage on screen, sound seems ok
This is huge. Various quality of contents, but overall very nice and fun!
OMG.
Pathetic lame shit by the lamest group ever - Paradox(Atari) !!
Don't mix those asshole up with the winners from Paradox(Amiga/Console) - Paradox(Atari) are just imitators with a damn low profile.

Loved it! Works with Hatari and a real STe. Thanks for making this! :)
