I didn't have to time to perfectly test it since the deadline was moved to thursday.

I'd keep this if it were on an obscure platform like the Mac because the first cube is cute. But the framework part was slow as hell.

yeah, that framework/scaffolding scene was awfully slow and rather ugly, to be honest it looks like you have lots of overlapping objects there
rest is sorta ok but the quality is all over the place
crap :)

thumb down for that awfully slow scene that has already been mentioned. rest wasn't very interesting either.

Funny ugly remakes of demos :)

can't thumb down a cube of cube
but i think you should release more slowly

bad music, and the slow part made me press ESC. We're long past fixed pipeline shading.

There are some things made better in this one compared to your previous intros, but overall it's still too incoherent and pointless. I also pressed ESC in the really slow part when the music got very annoying.

it wasn't shown. basically because we never recieved it. so where exactly did you send it?
added on the 2009-11-23 12:16:13 by leijaa leijaa
you are making progress, but what others said already: dont release at every party, take your time to learn and come up with sth good !
i cant see what went wrong in the cubes+cylinders-part, but it was really slow and this cant be ! you must have fukked up sth heavily there !
also music is terrible !

sorry, but you deserve this after winning money with your Main-64k ;)

Really too simple visually, and what the others said about the slow part and your release rate. Also: find a better musician ;)

I did send this to lugoober's email address. Oh well, it doesn't matter anymore.

Well hey, the whole prod is fucked up :). Crapness to the maxium and I don't denie that. This years last prod and last of these small intros. This wasn't so serious prod :).

Next party is Assembly and there will be the next release. But that music part is a tougher call.

it's better to release a lot of prods and do small progress with each one, than release something once a year or once in a few years. any mediocre-production is always infinitely better than no production at all.

and heres my thumb

certainly not bad but wouldn't go as far as thumbing it up :p it wasn't that bad looking this time, but the music was...not impressive.

you're getting better! music and effects were OK this time - and it has coder colors :-)

mrp: did you write lug00ber with the zero's instead of the o's? :)

I copied the email address.

I agree with nosfe on this matter. Rather keep up the steem and release stuff at parties than to release one "very good" demo every second year or so (like some groups do). Learning by doing (and sometimes failing)
added on the 2009-11-25 19:28:47 by Proteque Proteque
Agree with learning by doing, and releasing to get feedback. But there's nothing stopping you from showing half-finished practice stuff to friends, ofc. Lots of other demos were better on KG, but I can understand you're miffed it wasn't shown.

This was bad, so it will get a thumb down from me too. Now go make an awesome demo!

Can someone edit the demo info? If you just read it, it looks like it was @ KG but for some reason wasn't shown (ie preselection/disq)

It's not that bad.
The scaffolding scene was slow but that's not enough reason to thumb it down for me.
