Haha, even the "realtime optimized" code was not.
It does mod 255, better to do and 255. But And 255 should be mod 256. I know some compilers now will swap your mod 256 with and 255. But I had a case where the other side was int and not unsigned int, and as expected it didn't, because and vs mod in negatives give different results (but my int hapened to only walk into positive range, which djgpp saw but openwatcom didn't).
Anyway,. big mistake, also it mems[x + y*80], while it could linealy increase the pointer.
