Could use a bit more of design and concepting, and the beginning part with the raster bars is not quite there, but it's a start.

Hmm. What components did you use for music replay? Running your demo caused my system to invoke Windows Installer. After several second of music it (music) hang, and continued to sound even when I closed demo.
stan_1901: just midi. our own midi player, coded in asm. shouldn't cause any problems, unless you have some really weird configuration. intro was tested on xp and 2k3.

the music started some bits later than the visuals,but i guess thats intended.?!? (kinda cracktro-style.?)
anyway,here my Thumb,coz its not too bad for a Firstie and becoZ i just coded about the same CubeField 3 months ago... (i´m still new to PC ;) )
...and becoZ of the oldskool-Feeling you spent :)
