To analyze you voice just save it in .wav format, then open it in Matlab and use "fft" function. Of course you can analyze it in C++. There is a lot of functions on Internet, performing FFT.

That's just a wrapper for the windows/DOS TTS engine. This one actually does the work and I admire it for it.
Another one of those speech synths where you can convince yourself that you understand what it is saying if you read the words on the screen at the same time. ;)
I also used formant synthesis for the speech (and the music) in Planet Loonies. To find the right coefficients for the various sounds, I simply experimented until I found something I though sounded right. :)

Just add enough reverb and every synthetic voice will sound convincing! At least as a tiny robot voice. :]
