Boring music, nothing new or groundbreaking at all but it was ok.
I liked Traction more when they didn't try to imitate ASD and Kewlers so much. :-P Didn't really fancy the elevator music.

the music should've been something more abstract and outwordly. it really fails to set the mood with it's drumbeats, guitars and predictable chordings. this could've been more than just a demo.
looks really recycled. lot of scenes was way too long, and a bit empty. Anyway i really like the 'flowers" one.

The thumb can't go any other way than up but Preacher.. the next time we talk about a demo of yours, make sure that you're confident about it (i.e. have spent a good time coding it and actually loving it.. and I suppose you know why say that eh? =)

I'm a bit disappointed. After marvellous "Fairy tale" this tastes like a rechauffé cutlet. It was nice to watch it on bigscreen, but I probably won't play it anymore.
It's not bad but feels just too much the same as last year. Didn't give me any nice feelings I usually get from Traction demos.

this one looked almost 3D on the big screen. I dig the concept and the execution, there were a couple of parts that had unreal beauty.
guys, please start learning shots and screen layout. most of the parts would be so much better with interesting shots. turning around an object is not always the best solution. nevertheless soundtrack and basic concept are nice - so: a weak thumb up.

Also, the music is very well produced, but sounds too much like someone was trying to copy an ASD soundtrack. Without progressive metal it just doesn't work, I tell you. ;)

long lost thumb! i truely believe that, due to their (his) distinctive minimal trademark style, traction (preacher) has been one of the most inspiring forces in the demoscene over the past few years. and continues to be so. this production is no exception. one shot however got me worried though: what the heck does the swimming fishbone do in there? while one is easily seduced by these beautiful deepsea realms full of microscopic life the swimming fishbone is the unpleasant out-of-place kick in the head ... but other than that: brilliant!

I watched this again yesterday just before going to sleep. I find it sad how close it is to what I wanted, and yet so infinitely far away. Maybe it would warrant even a re-make some day, with some scenes taken out entirely and others reworked. I still think that the spline/line/glow thing in the end is the finest effect I have ever done.

At times it felt kinda empty and stagnant, but some parts and effects in really liked, good music too.
i dont care about the gfx and visuals, but the music by romeo knight is so great!

I wouldn't have enjoyed this half as much as I did without the music, but the design is still awesome. The camera paths seem very carefully considered. Also, I think the fish skeleton was a good thing.

This demo has a perfect ending. The soundtrack and fish models scream for a comparison with ASD so here goes: this one wins in style and music but loses in the scene transitions. Overall, quite enjoyable but a tad too long.

Hey, we got successful once with this concept (Fairytale) so let's do it again! The music is great (I especially love the acoustic guitar solo in the middle and the shredding through shitloads of effects in the end). This one was a painful to make with lots of arguments etc, but watching it now years later hurts less than it perhaps could.
Out of all the effects I've ever done, the recycled Fairytale line snake is maybe the best single one.
