wow, this seems to be the oldest ms-dos prod ever added on pouet...
btw it would be new to me that vga was in "wide use" at that time... my first pc was a back-then top notch tulip 286 from 1989, and it still had EGA...
The oldest production I had found on Hornet. It must not be a demoscene production, but still it's interesting for such an old time..
it's okay (especially for the date!!). 4096 colors apparently done by dithering, which i would still call 64 colors.
vga was released in 1987, i remember even in 1989 you had to pay _big_ bucks for vga.

Changed release year from 1986 to 1987.
Cool, it even runs on WinXP and a DX9 Card, in a quite normal speed of course. \o/

A relic :) I'm too young to have ever owned an EGA though..
he talks about a 386 cpu in the doc-file. 386 in 1987?
Great for its time
yeah, oldest prod on hornet, that's why i remembered it, hehe.. hurray for the pioneers
old
I was in kindergarten.
Great for its time.
Cool stuff for 1987!
I *really* thought I had a version of this that came with the source but after looking through all my files I don't know anymore.

if this prod is a fake, some info is false or the download link is broken,
do not post about it in the comments, it will get lost.

Lines forming the name RAX spin around in 3D amongst a moving starfield, while the colour pallet cycles through a whooping 4096 colours!!!!
Amazing for '87.... but VGA was in wide use at the time...
Strange :)
