A nice demo, but, ahem, where's Hardwired?! Somebody upload it!

Not their finest demo, IMHO. Apart from the typical cinematographic intro the rest of the effects were already old when it was released.
Kyd & Balle = success
yes.
yeah baby, come on!
The effects in this demo weren't old when it was released - the 1-pixel plasma was never seen before.
Wavemaker: are you so sure that "the rest of the effects were already old"? I seem to remember that Sunjohn/Hannibal was one of the first to do rubbervectors with this demo.. could be wrong though...
Anyway, code music and graphics (especially the purple&orange logo) really kicks!

Silents quality labeled production, I must have seen Global Trash a hundred times hehe.
The gfx = :9
ohh.. all the memories... anyone heard of cuddley?
for the music, one of my favorite amiga mods.
everything rulez in that demo !
it was done before the demoscene death !
:)))

:)))
Great prod. So nice realization !
Good demo, Jesper Kyd's music made it immortal. Deserves more attention. :)
all of it... the bootloader music thing was nice :)
I remember the boys from Alliance Design/Quartex made a loud moan, when it was announced that they only got 2nd place. But I still believe this was the right winner - but by a VERY small margin.
I agree with Steel. Made a great impact on the bigscreen with that great looking plasma and the fine raytraced anims.
Classic piece of demo. I still have the original floppy :D
Great, all the way.
Nice one!
all time favourite, and yes, excellent music by the Kyd! :)
yeep, the music is great (is der Hammer !!!!)
Great prod again.
Nice to see 'em old Amiga coders commenting their own productions here. :)
great shit on great hardware back in the good ol' days ;-)
Yesssss!! Roxx!
superherb.
This has always been one of my absolute favourites. The Silents rules supreme! Greetings to Hannibal!
Oh, yes. It was one of the first demos I saw. And it still rocks.
great production. I was really fascinated as I saw it the first time. Cool FX, nice gfx & sound that all gives a great atmosphere. MEGATHUMB UP!
For one thing about the future we can say for sure thats its utterly fantastic! ;)
great demo
the video behind the video link seems to have been made with a buggy emulator tho :(

This one was really impressive back then because of its highly advanced design. Largely
underestimated IMHO.
underestimated IMHO.
This is simply one of my all time favorite demos... the credits part is awesome for an A500.
Oh yeah!
not impressive, but good solid work
a regular amiga demo :P
Brilliant!
Really cool!
Great.
Impressive plasma and raytracing!
One of my favourite demos of '91. Cool attitude throughout the whole production. Soundtrack hit the spot, even though that 'signature' synth-guitar was sampled from Vangelis' Nerve Centre.
One of my most played demos of all time. The soundtrack is incredible and the demo has a really captivating atmosphere. A masterpiece.
excellent !
one of the best one
I liked the music (of course) and the realtime raytracing in the end (yeah, being sarcastic).... ok demo
first plasma I have seen, and to day the nicest. I guess this is also the first amiga demo I have ever seen. It was very shocking after the c64. Still love this demo to day, havent aged a lot imho. very nice design, classicmusic.
here's a thumb for the music. and the incredible pic in the screenshot. didn't care too much about most of the fx, but whatever.
hey wait, actually there were some cool effects.
great song.
A most excellent demo, its design was a great step forward at the time.
A Monument.
One of my all-time favourite demos. Just fantastic from start to finish.
I still remember the jaw dropping to the floor when the demo started so fast. Later learned the trick of the looped sample ect.
Classic.
Classic.
It's a nice demo but the music doesn't suit my taste...
Still nice!
oops, missing my thumb!
Watched it way too often back then! :) Still in love!

@amigadreams: No. The 1992 one is Demon Download (which is also quite a bit less interesting overall)

Utterly boring and ugly as sin. The end music is the only even remotely positive thing in this.
Great demo.
But, for Christ sake... What a utterly boring and repetitive music.
Jesper KYD, with all my respect, had only ONE style, imo: that with smashing hammers, hihats and all the metal rubbish striking each other...
Even on the Sega MegaDrive he worked on, it was all the same "lithany"...
He did some good Future Compser tune(s) thou...
It took him literaly ages to develope into something, sight, more interesting...

Oldschool respect!
Mature inconvex vectors and nice music, certainly worth a rulez! Thx for reminding me to to put on Vangelis' The City :)
Stratospheric Classic.
sim: with Future Composer tunes i think you mean Jesper Kristensen, not Kyd (many have mixed these two, both are danes too). As for the style, IMO Kyd had, in many cases, much more interesting approach in the long run than a lot of his colleagues at the time.
Hardwired's older, poorer brother. But still very enjoyable! :)
forgotten thumb up !
Trash.. it is not :)
