I liked the concept and design. But somehow it all seemed a little lacking in 'action' or something.

I agree with Plek. This sucks as a demo.
cool graphical art, but it's not a demo.
Bad stuff: Runs rather slow, even at 640x480. Putting 1024x768 as default is not a good idea for geforce2mx owners like myself. Another complaint about default settings is that it selected my modem audio device to play the music :-) It's also long and boring. The (much flamed) 'Product' is nowhere near as boring as this one imho. Explosions are way too loud compared to the rest of the music.
Good stuff: The gfx are quite good, the funky-disco music also does its job fitting the demo very well. Models are funny and well made. Finally the whole design is kinda nice.
And I liked the bots disco moves very much! :-)

This has some very cool 3d-modelling, but it's not still very good as demo.
I like the music but it's too quiet, especially compared to that explosion, which i almost thought blew up my speakers :)
But overall i enjoyed watching this, even if it would be better as just animation, not a demo.

how can flatshading/wireframed cubes be classified as a demo and not a demo who has some time behind the code,gfx and the music?

ahha, watched it at home on geforce. liked it quite much even despite the wild-demo-ish concept that was criticized already.. it falls into '3d-cartoon-story' type of demos, and in this particular category it stands quite proud. nice modeling and textures, music and sound design are not so great but whataheck. behind-the-scenes shots after the credits are fun too!
respect for design, gfx and making it all fit together. i like it :)

I already liked 'pandalization' very much! Frogwize prods are surely _deifferent_ to most other demo-releases...and that makes it intersting and new in a way!
All in all: great design and gfx...as well as story and 'humor' ;-)

Superb!! This is how a good PC demo should be made. Faultless design, gfx, modelling and it all runs at a stable pace.
Cool soundtrack too, though I'm not sure it was appropriate for this style of demo.

Well, considerable work went into this, and you do have to admit that the robot rulx =)
Pisses me off to see a yet-another flad-shaded cube "design-demo" recieve ranting reviews, when demos like this (with great textures, models, gfx, and decent music) are lost in the background noise.

the sound effects are truly awful and those static text overlays can be seen too long on the screen here also. btw. if this were an animation it would definitely have faster pace.

damn good graphics, they deserve thumb up.
hmmm i like the overlays... really nice gfx but sometimes it looked strange (it didn't really look realistic, maybe because of the missing sky and the very few landscape objects and the simple landscape textures) but the models were really good
impressive. good music, very stylish, nice gfx etc. but everything is so stiff

Enjoyable. A lot more happening here than in pandalization and again, while storydemos aren't really what I like, this one's all right.
This blows away most demos of today and it's not even very hardware intensive.

Very strong visuals but i can't say the same thing for the audio ... Modelling , animation and 2d all are great..
Not that good, but has some great parts, like the robot model, and the fish.

It kinda lacked atmosphere though, and some things quietly muttered along in a predictable way. Despite that, it probably could and should have won the trsac demo compo =)
