Quite some attitude in the scrolltexts :) The demo is pretty ugly though. :) Dunno if I would have liked it in 1988. Also, as I suppose D.Y.S.P. stands for D.ifferent Y. S.prite P.osition, why is that so special? Isn't the VIC able to move sprites in x and y direction w/o any problems? Most probably I missed something obvious here so fellow C64 coders, enlighten me please. :)

The problem is that sprites fuck up the timing i.e. steals cycles from the CPU in a rather nontrivial way, and you need timing for rasterbars and especially opening of the sideborder, which requires manipulating the VIC at exact cycles.
Ah ok, I knew I missed something. :) Thanks Cruzer! :)
