Actually, they released at least a couple Amiga demos in 1994.. not to mention a bunch of intros. Or do you not consider that the same group?
This is possibly the _only_ classic Amiga demo I could never get running under an emulator. If anyone's had success, please let me know.

i wouldn't consider it the same group.
"The new Razor 1911 was the source of some controversy when it was formed by
Colorbird/Illusion, Lizardking and Tony/The Silents and Odoen/Phenomena in
late 1993. Their only claim to the name of the old heroes was that
Colorbird was once a member... The real Razor had moved to the PC, and
wanted the Amiga side to die with their passing. Still, the debate toned
down after a while."

great demo, i wonder what SIM is doing nowdays ?
Loveitloveitloveitloveitloveitloveit! Great design, good effects, nice music!
speaking of razor1911, this one was good :)
That was pretty cool imho!!!
rocks most definately. a classic. wonderful music by tip and mantronix btw.
one of the best demo ever made on Amiga !
Razor 1911 at its best. Great!
One of the all time greats. The music is unbelievable!
really good code for an A500, good transitions, the vector running guy is cool but the 3D parts look really dated now and the graphics are average...
!!!!!!!!!
Some of the effects were preety original and amazing, I gotta get this demo now to run it in my real Amiga!
Run, run, vector man!
Seemed to be a bunch of low-framerate effects connecting BBS ads and greetings and credits.
I guess I'm more used to Hardwired's style?

whhheeeeeeee!
wonderfull...
wonderfull...
AAAH the music!!
another gems in the long list of fabulous Amiga demos... Young people will never have that strange feeling to own the best computer of the world while watching demos like "Voyage" :)
one of those classics that i dont care much for
the commercial part (bbs) is somewhat slow and boring. the rest is pure gold. and of course it includes two of the best pieces of scene music ever. rules.
<3
I have not been able to emulate this demo yet on WinUAE - using the latest 0.9.91 - any ideas?
I couldn't run this with mini WinUAE.
With usual 1.3 512K 68000 OCS etc it worked for me with 8.26 (how old, it was somewhere on my disks ;))

hannover!
Brilliant.
Underrated and brilliant.
Classic masterpiece !
The music is a hammer itself!!
one of my amiga favs :)
I love it! The running man in the wireframe cube looks ace!
One of the best Amiga demos ever.
If commodore administration only had this quality back in the days. ;)

Nice one!
RZR Power
Overload is such a hit.
Excellent.
what alien said :)
Underrated? definately. It belonged in 2nd place after Hardwired ... don't know where that Alcatrash thing should have been in the ranking ...
aga fix by Galahad of Flt:

The disk2 link contains the aga fix by Galahad now.
Top notch stuff
nice razor production!!! and thk galahad for the aga fix
Great demo! Great Tune!
kewl demo!! ( : props to galahad/flt
Never liked the demo, but I absolutely love the music by Codex and this outweighs everything else. My favourite composer on the Amiga ever. And you can't go wrong with Tip and Mtx either. So thumbs are due even though the demo is pain to watch.
yeah.. quality code and nice ideas
love it ! always wonderful soundtrack by Tip & Mantronix
Outstanding demo, I'm stunned! It got really NICE gfx and music... the gfx were really great!
The only bad thing bout this is that it sometimes looked like an ad (phone number after phone number... "if you want some hq music, call"... :)

thumb up for the whole thing but especially the music. This is just demo music at its best. It fits perfectly the ambiance.
Sim and Drake from Hannover... I wish I knew what they were doing nowadays. The track itself was composed by Mantronix only as far as I know, the better half of Tip and Mantronix.
last Sim demo I know of: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=8677. And then there is an article series in the german "Amiga Magazin" (6-11/1994 IIRC) by Sim about A500 demo coding (voxel space, texture mapping, ...)
don't know much amiga, but this one seems quite outstanding..
Chromag: 2 tunes on it
Undersea by Codex
-and-
Overload by Mantronix (if you load the .mod) -or- by Tip & Mantronix (if you read the credits :P)

Legendary demo! I love Razor 1911!
Probably the best demomusic made ever and some mighty effects in this demo for 1991. Absolutely stunning.
nice intro / first part esp. the robotscenery.. 1991, my ass ;)
When finally OVERLOAD enters the court.. it would make me melt away whatever is on the screen, and what I see here is even great..
(anyway, I would like to add that I think the overload song had much more demo-potential, timingwise, as it has so many different parts, this feels a bit wasted here).. enough bla and thumb up ;)

a bit boring, but the first half and codex's music are good.
Quite nice.
Great
Still chills my spine to the shores of hell!
One of the best demos ever on a500, especially texturemapping PLUS mod.underwater from codex and mod.overload from tip&mantronix. PURE LOVE.

Best Razor1911 Demo off all time =)
Thanks for this Demo. It was our todays issue at: modcast.de
Hah, Kristianstad.. Jävla bönder! :P
Slow-paced demo, but very stylish.
Slow-paced demo, but very stylish.
yes, some effects are quite impressive
Was great to meet one of my composer idols finally at The Party. I loved his stuff ever since I heard Memorydust. I remember how Maestro, Nightlight and I cheered for him in the music compo. Great atmosphere in this demo. Is it just me or have demo-soundtracks become less original these days when compared to a track like this?
great music.
Great demo and some really nice music.
Way cool music in the space scene that comes after the mechwarrior.
This demo will be in demoheaven when i die!
Love the music of this demo!
Very slow-paced but also has its better moments.
Quit cool effects. ( rotating ground with wirled balls ) and the running guy in the wireframe cube. Not to forget a fine track make this demo to a true amiga 500 classic.
sweet..
another masterpiece ... the running guy in cube.... et ouais mon pote, c'est ça l'Amiga , qu'est-ce que tu veux y faire ....
RuLEz !
RuLEz !
:*)
forgot to rate this one, a great one!
Great!
dammit, how do I get this to work in WinUAE? or, alternatively, what are the names of those tunes? :P
Still the best. Love the tunes to the eternity and texmapping.. in effin 1991!
missing thumb, was a great trip watching it back then.
Two massive modules in this demo, Overload by Mantronix and Tip, and Undersea by Codex. Wow! And that green guy running on the cube is just great!
Yes. Undersea, not Underwater :D
WTF ! And you think you have thumped them all up by now..
classic in every way.. end tune makes me nostalgic every time I hear it again! :D

fo sure
classic..
In retro-mode, Exit ? :-)
alltime classic!!!!!
Some nice parts.
codex's track in this is just incredible
Always thought thios was a bit boring, but has some nice bits.
Okayish
I'm actually gonna piggy this, it's a shame because obviously at least time went into it. It has carefully timed scripting and things happen but the things are not ambitious and it's long and develops slowly. It's not likely that they spent the months required on vector code for the X-wing ship showing for 1.3 seconds only, it's much more likely that it's animation or animation player.
I think this was about the time when music went from being solid to 'anal command-tweaking'? But I feel like a lot of music from Tip & Mantronix felt ... yucky? Weird and not satisfying. Somehow.
At the same time, music is nice at the start as is the presentation, and I remember the keyboard texturemapthingy from the past, still.
One or two great effects and it would have been lovely :)

I've only seen this once on Survivor's A2000, but it made great impression!
missing thumb
Always loved this.
Nicely protected loader, very cute code (changing registers in the CIA irq's to calculate the decryption key for the trace vector decoder etc.). :D A good test case for any Amiga emulator since it needs 100% cycle exact CPU/Bus timing.
And 100% exact CIA timing too, of course. :)
A classic!
killer demo with great musics.

Two killer songs in one demo. And a lot of nice effects too.

great prod, ideal for breakfast purposes also.
virtuoso chipset programming technique. I am delighted!
what Archmage said.
its mostly advertising for their boards, memberlist, contact adresses, etc.
still i have to thumb it for the musix, but its far from best demos on ECS.

Nice demo.
<3
Great Classic :)
Made me wonder how many great demos i havent seen yet
thumb up for inventive use of texture mapping and design!
The mapping part is a bit brute force and slow, but as a whole I've always liked it
Retrospectively I find it odd (if not schizophrenic) to advertise for (pirate ?) BBS numbers and to ask for a job of paid musician in the game industry in the very same demo :)
Other than that, this production is mythical to me and, contrary to comments above, I don't find it that boring compared to the "Odyssey" that won the same party.
Thumbs up for the massive display of texture mapping on a stock Amiga in 1991!

Good thing in old demo style... Some interesting effects, zooming & rotating reminds me to Mode7 on SNES :)
Rulez! :)
Cool! :)
nice demo..
just noticed that the intro is "highly" inspired by the first Terminator movie intro :-)

Legndary Song in Part 2 and the Jugglee is great....1991 feelings :)
Good overall, but to my taste not too much one-framy :)
Loved the music and the code. Style seemed a bit inconsistent but had lots of good elements
The intro is awesome, the BBS part is too long, the rest is breathtaking.
Musics are really impressive, especially the one from Codex that sounds like nothing else.

Best Razor 1911 demo.
Well I mean, it has a few decent moments... the intro, the second music track, the guy running inside the cube. Just don't make me sit through the whole thing.
what noby said
What trip! Still a pleasure to watch even after so many years. Music & effects simply remarkable and unrivalled.
Classic. I love the tunes especially the overlord. Demos like this make me feel sad that why i wasn't born on commodore-amiga era.

this demo made me stay up late at night and not do any homework at all. <3
Pacing and linking sucked but, oh boy, those 3d routines! :O
Features one of best 4-channels modules ever created! Great!
The music on this is great. The Jarre bit when the running man is doing his thing makes me go full nostalgia :)
Same here, the running man and the xmas personal greets of 1991... so nostalgic, I remember the exact moment watching this <3
Very touching sounds
Good specifically the second part (and famous music by Mantronix &Tip!)
A defining demo with some great effects and two amazing pieces of music, both of which are big influences, particularly Codex's Undersea.
@rock SIM has left Hannover a long time ago. He's living in Berlin now and is working at Dolby Laboratories, Inc. Currently I am working on an interview with him. Very friendly person, who still lives from his programming skills.. ;-)
Bon
Great dynamics and some of the most wonderful music ever to have graced the Amiga.
A forgotten gem! Atleast to me :D Considering at which year it was released, this is a masterpiece, both graphically and musically too.
Such a great gem! One of the demos that made history, IMO!
Nice!
