(In the ten years that separate that concert and the present day, I have had the pleasure of watching this controversial and occasionally talented artist grow in popularity, ability, influence and mentality. Though I some times disagree wholeheartedly with some of his views concerning women, violence, and the police, I still remain in deep admiration for his contributions to the fields of music and film. His blunt though effective attacks in the ongoing battle over freedom of speech and expression deserve serious commendation as well.
