definately the best demo of se01. great music and synchronization!
I mean, it's a quite ok demo, but what synchronisation? The beat hops around senselessly (and yes, i do know and like IDM style music, normally) and the effects do so, too, but i don't really see the connection. Even the transitions between the parts don't have any real connection to what's going on in the music... so what synchro are you talking about?

i saw the tap-the-space-bar synchronization system ;-)
kb: well, if the scenes change at all somehow in the rythm with music it's still better than showing a scene that doesn't react at all to the music, which unfortunately happens quite often in demos.

*g* tap-the-space-bar sync systems rule... we used a tap-the-space-bar-and-some-number-keys-and-then-quantize-it-to-16th-notes-in-the-module sync system in Hifi8032 :)

shifter er dum. men shifter forstår ikke hvad man skriver. Shifter er nemlig ikke dansker og derfor forstår shifter det kun, hvis det bliver oversat til shifters nationalsprog. Desuden kan shifter godt lide at blive bidt i armen, hvilket ingen andre end shifter kan se det fede i. ergo shifter er underlig.

_, weird, i've heard the same from some other ppl, but it doesn't seam to happen for everyone. Does anyone have a clue what's causing it (and has it been corrected since 3.3?)
_: Also please note that i'm using both a distortion and a lowpass filter on the sound at runtime, so it is virtually impossible to compare the module when played externally to the sound from the demo; especially because I modulate both the filters quite heavily at times. This might account for some of the fuckups :)

Lots of pretty graphics and stuff, but the camera work and the scenery and such is a little too sluggish somehow. It gives the whole demo, which is otherwise pretty awesome, a vague nondescript "boring" feel.
