The menu didn't really work for me, while I was able to choose between the channels I didn't know what I was choosing because there was no text... Am I missing a font or something?
The playback itself seemed to work fine.

Anyways, if you have a recent version of XBMC you won't have the font problem.

this worked perfectly for me. i have a january 2007 build of xbmc.
i must though; seeing "success pc" on pouet last night gave me instant flashbacks to when i used to swap with harlequin, back in.. oh.. 1994-95. good times, good times. :) it also gave me an urge to watch puker in dosbox! :)

This is sweet and works nicely. I didn't even know before that XBMC can play shoutcast video, now demoscene.tv looks like a real TV station on a real TV. It's not hard to believe that some day IP TV will become commonplace.
Doesn't seem to work with the version of xbmc I currently have installed. (T3CH XBMC 2008-01-27 SVN rev11426).
Any ideas on how to fix the problem? (no, I don't want to downgrade to an older xbmc)

Doesn't work with the latest XBMC no.. T3CH XBMC 2008-07-31 SVN build) - can you please fix? :) Probably due to changes in how Demoscene.tv works I guess.
the latest version XBMC-SVN_2008-12-30_rev16762-T3CH is partly working with this script correctly :)
It plays the three HQ channels perfectly, and tbh thats really nice for me even just having that functionality. The other standard channels all seem to stream some random music, no video, one of them seems to be a french radio stations aswell :)
Anyway the 3 main HQ channels are just great, thankyou :)
