looks very good, but would have been better if the screen contained as much action as the tune

Crashed at the Galm logo part.. R9800Pro.

break: it's because you don't have the divx 3.11 alpha codec installed then, should've done an exit instead of starting the demo if the codec wasnt found..

and yeah, after some research it seem like it doesnt work with the divx 3.11 that comes with ffdshow.

nice! i love the black white and red. i like the scene too where there's the red bars mapped to fft of music - tho the music had just one part that drove it nice. i was playing with a similar effect myself. oh and the video of the party rocked. good job!

It had the potential, but more content wouldn't have hurt -> oink

Way cool. The video is from Requiem for a dream, right?

Very simple.
A bit simple, though I like the style and video at times.

buzzie, does that vid comes from "requiem for a dream"?

Next time use open-source/free codecs like theora.

very interesting. effects aren`t related to video imho. anyway it`s a good one. too short a bit.

yeah, the video is indeed a clip from "requiem for a dream". the idea was origanally to play more with videoclips but the deadline got closer and coding a demo at the same time that you are organizing a party isnt that good. Anyway, this demo was made in a total of approx. 4 days. i hope the next one will be better.

well that's good stuff, but it's more like vj stuff. if the video was made by you, it would also be good as a scene demo imo

now that was uninteresting, and the music was annoying as well. sorry, but totally not my taste.

fires an error msg like "failed to open AVI frame"
Then a bit mediocre demoing and after the "glam" screen it fatal crashes with a memory violation message.

Win2k - 1 Gig Ram, Radeon x600 64MB

I get the same errors as doDgE. Also on the same momemt (when the galm logo appears).

I use ffmpeg so I guess that's the bastard that causes the error. So when will there be a fix? :)

This should solve most of you troubles, most people with Windows XP will probably have WMV9 codecs allready. WMV9 Movie
Just unzip into the same folder as tbor.
