i like it !

yes good work!
yes good work!
is it just me or is the pc port archive broken?
Hooray
1995 is back!
oldskool! very nice optimus! :D
It's hard not to like this, really nice stuff mate. Good music too, well done.
I liekd it a lot, nice detail with the 3d object and the water in the end.
Not much design, but not like I can do much better anyway.
Not much design, but not like I can do much better anyway.
I second Preacher.
Groovy :)
Preacher and Graga summed it up well. Couple of nice transitions anyway. Good work Optimus \o/
Thought I'd never get to see a new GP32 demo (well, unless I actually got around to finishing my own), so this was a nice surprise.
Good old code-oriented style from the 90ies, I like it!

I never said I'd say that but... nice one optimus!! \o/ Keep'em comin!
and thumbs up because the sources! I may give it a go at some point.
Heyheyhey! The guy can code too! :D
Optimus, this rocks! You just saved my scene spirit which was still stuck in 1994! :)
this is nicor!
cool
same effects that optimus has coded before. now just for gp32 :(
okay i give thumb up .. maybe it encourages him to code more and bullshit less
130Mhz RISC cpu deserves better effects? well atleast the colorscheme is oldskool :(
So 1994, it hurts.
hey this is nice. I liked the music and the zooming fractals. Oh well 1995 indeed but, between now and Asm, what better demo to watch than this ?
Actually it is still playing. I see plasmas, face.obj,.. lots of work.
If that was presented at pixelshow (for example) it would have won. Reason ? Has tons more soul than the other accelerated demos we usually see. well done.

Great demo for the GP32! Good work optimus, and kudos for making the first mindlapse productions since myself and samurai proved to be extremely lazy this past year :)
I'm preparing a UNIX port as we speak. hang on.

nice. i like it. :)
Some scenes last a bit too long but still very enjoyable :)
not my cup of tea, but it's optimus, so here comes the thumb
r00lz
Really nice one :)
kickass!
very nice, very oldsch00lish and very optimustardish... great prod!
was an interesting combination of old effects.. very entertaining!
Nice oldskool style!!
this is what makes Optimus differ from EP, nitro2k01, Adok and other trolls! Nice oldskool production :)
Nice one, thumb up for the spirit.
The colours have been battered to death with the ugly stick but I enjoyed the demo a lot, probably because it feels like a 1995 PC demo. Good effects, I love the 3d objects on the screenshot. Music is great too!
Could have done with much more work on the design. And I won't even mention leaving the desktopgirls URL on that girl picture :)

Wow! Can it be recompiled to Pocket PCs? If someone can do this, do this please! :)
Jennifer loves-to-do-it. Quite nice, music was one of the best in recent prods, even if it really is just "ok".
good job! have to check it on gp32, too...
Awesome. this is fucking beautiful. i love it!
Congrats!
We love Optimus :)
Optimus, you crazy bastard!

Exactly! :)
Very good!
there's still hope for Optimus!! ;)
optimus, this totally rocks.
two things are missing: 1) a scroller 2) the flashing "REALTIME" text. ;)

a cute demo that contains old effects
cool! most parts are very 1993, one or two effects are a bit 1997. there are some nice transitions: the zoom in the julia screen, the stretch of the girl picta, the one going from fullscreen plasma to plasma cube.
the water effect is a bit pussy.. you should use an 8 pixel support instead of 4 and a good word resolution. this will give you much fatter waves.

i really enjoyed it
wow über-enjoyable!
nice
Damn i loved this, its awesome! totaly my cup of tea! keep em comming!
Tested on GP2X. Not bad. Now, it's time to use second CPU. Isn't it?
really nice dudes
1995 is back.
and good work.
my thumb up.
and good work.
my thumb up.
yes! big thumbs up for the demo and great photo of jennifer love hewitt (always a good demo effect)
maybe a tiny bit too long, but nice oldskool memories delievered to the GP2X.
optimus for teh win!
damn right.
Nice! A second thumb half-up for the source & Linux version.
Oldschool to the point of comedy. Would have ruled big time in 93!
Very nice demo. The music started out just great, but it became a bit repeating after a while. Also some parts of the demo were a bit too long in the first half. Besides those little things, well worth a thumb up.
Fun old stuff, except for the music. If you're going to rip those samples, please use them to make an homage instead of an insult.
Finally an oldschool-prod that does not have a scroller. Enjoyable.
rule.
Rulez!
Optimus!
good one.
optimal
Go Optimus!
Great stuff!
yay for Linux version!
yay for '95 style. Good one. Some music-effect-interaction would have worked wonders for the overall experience, but anyway: Nice demo!
So optimus is a scener after all :) awwww :)
good job, man!
good job, man!
so sweet :)
So oldschool wannabe it hurts... the visuals would be quite lousy even in 95 and the music just gets on my nerves but hey, thumb up for the platform!
yeah
i don't like the msuic at all, but there are some lovely effects!
Very old school (ported). I like the tune and that fractal scene.
hehe, fine old school one
the music is "oh well..." , the colours and design totally killed my eyes..
but i'll still thumb it up because that last scene reminded me of everything i fell for in the demoscene.. even jennifer :)

Very nice, Optimus. Much better than the last thing I saw from you, good to see you're evolving.
I really liked the oldskool vibe, good music too. And unlike Rebels 'oldskool' stuff etc, this is actually all software-rendering, written pretty much in the same way as the original effects were intended.
Next stop: 3d acceleration? :)

Kickass one :)
i used to hate 1994-95 demos that took AGES to get the damn objects off-screen.. and i still do.
yet, this is strangely satisfying to watch. :)

Very well done! I liked this demo. Runs very smooth under Linux, PIII, 450Mhz.
Can You send me the "fmod" routines and sources? I would use them under Windows...

that's the spirit!
very enjoyable whatever the year it is :))

well done optimus, thats a lot of work with some cool results
optimus is leading the month's charts. :O
Hooray for Optimus! Number one for the month!
The pink flower thingy is cute, the music is nice, and then there's of course....well....Jennifer! :D
Thumbs up for:
* Tuneful muzak
* The face thingy- very 1996-ish, and I'm sure I'll eventually remember where I've seen such an effect before (besides Global Trash II), but it still looks cool.
* General impression that these effects weren't just thrown in
* Linux support! Yes, another nice Linux demo...

Rock on Optimus! Thumbs frressshhh!
Wow, very nice in a retro way.
kicks ass! really nice to watch
Yeah, bring back the good old times!
very nineties. nicely done optimus. looking forward to seeing your gp2x stuff soon :)
Oldschool! This was great!
Fine oldie routines. The plasma looked nice. Soundtrack inspired by "Enigma", eh ;) ?
This could have easely been released 14-15 years ago ;-)
very nice work :D
I like transitions :)
Sweet!
great one, only thing I didn't like was the red bull thing (texture could have had more details for example)
thumb also for the ports ;)

oldskool
Hey, no comment from me yet. I know some people who is not into this, but I say sod them. This is just a very nice demo as in Demo. Good music too. Hope there is another one in the pipeline for BP. ;)
it's a bit like watching a musicdisk for some reason; it's not the coolest thing ever, but it still makes you go "yeah!" at the end
nice'n'unpolished
this was cool... in 1993... :-|
links are broken :(
Wow!
cruzer, you had this on _what_ platform in 1993? :) You need to work on your scene history ... ;)
And then a Dreamcast port
Rox!
good!
WTH, here's your motivational thumb :)
I enjoyed this one on GP2X (one of the best GP2X demos I've seen so far) cute 90ies effect show!

i'm feeling young again \:D/
absolutely love this one
oldfashioned and lacking in design, but it does have a nice soundtrack :)
Optimus can do it
RISC OS port available here
should've thumbed this one too
psp port?
I actually tried to do a PSP port a year ago, but there was some problem that made me give up.
Dingoo port by zeitpunk. Love it!
great demo
come on.
yes, good one.
nice
=)
A great oldschool-style demo. Those smooth transitions between effects make this a surprisingly entertaining watch.
I remember it well from the time, and loved it as a sw rendered pc demo even without knowing what a gp32/gp2x was.
Atari port (should run on any TOS-compatible machine with 16-bit graphics): https://mikro.naprvyraz.sk/files/led_blur.zip.
Cool prod
Optimus where is a port for AmigaOS/MorphOS :).
I have updated the Atari port (URL stays the same), it should be a bit faster and also running really nearly anywhere with a Fuji symbol. ;-)
