Didn't like it. And I'm German. This feels a bit like a Bild-Zeitung-Reportage.
I somehow thought they were sponsores and showing their crappy movie was only goodwill from the organizers (while the first position was a clear statement to the crowd). Oh well, they weren't sponsors, they've used Breakpoint as a quite cheap promotion (only 1x 45 Euros entrance fee).

i don't understand this one really, i dislike this sort of prods alot on demoparties since most demosceners already have made up their mind about stuff like this. And why call it "no copy" when you are promoting the creative commons license which is a kind of copyright.

I suspect (because I'm way too cynical) the title "no copy" is a blatant and shameless attempt at capturing the aura of the "no logo" book.
It's way too long and it's not really scene related, but it's fairly decent as far as anti-copyright propaganda fake-documentaries go.

sorry evrim, no matter what, but breaking party rules (submitting an already released entry) just to promote a commercial product is VERY lame. instead of writing about "hacker ethics" you should learn the ethics of the demoscene.

i think the movie is quite good. but i agree, that using demo scene in combination with hackers could be confusing to demo sceners if they dont know the hacker ethics. but the main idea of the vid appears very correct, imho.

i'm very interested in copyright/copyleft activism, but re-releasing and without fucking subtitles, fuck off, i'd rather have watched the prods that didnt got played by deviance, nosfe and !=.
At least they should have translated the text into english so everybody at BP would have understood what it's about. Re-releasing it in german at BP after it was available from their website wasn't that clever. ;-)
