I don't agree with Zplex. I think MAC scene doesn't suck, but this demo sure does. c64 turbo loader/depacker like rasterbar fx, a scroll and a zoomer rotator. I'm sure a MAC can do much better.

DaD1916: well, have to admit i wasn't too constructive. But you have to admit your stuff might lack some quality...
Anyways, yes I am lazy as hell, but my laziness has some quality control side-effect. :)

Sorry, i assumed that the demo compo had more entries then this one. Should this demo end with the zoomer bitmap rotator, or was it something wrong here?

Foolman, yes it end with the bitmap zoomer. hehe:) This is only my 3rd demo and my coding skills are lame but getting better. You don't want to see my first demo!

Skate.I admit more quality is needed. Laziness does have quality control too :)

I can see how this was kinda fun to make, and im
happy that people try to make demos for different platforms; like mac. But please give us a display of power instead of c64 effects like a scroller and moving pictures......this demo sux. no effort. no nice visuals.

Why bother with more when this is enough for victory?

I feel bad about thumbing this down, because it's cute in a way and the vocoder in the music is lovely, but it just doesn't deliver. You really should work on the effects before making a demo. If you only use rotozooming bitmaps, at least do something cool with them :)

Hey DaD1916, don't let all the thumb-down guys stop you. Use it as encouragement to get better at coding. Keep going!

Hmm... I reckon next time you'll do something good. This is like an oldschool demo with most of the effects taken out.. feels pretty empty. Keep going, and work on adding more parts and combining them to make nifty effects.

Next time, try to code on a G4 or something. The Zoomer was way too fast over here. And hey, if you can handle a mac, why not Photoshop? Garageband? Xcode? Come on, there's so much stuff delivered with Mac OS X, next time, use it. ;-)
