i never thought its possible to make a 4kb intro under windows. according to this, i have to mention that recently i had to make anything in winapi to get a credit in some subject so i thought what should happen when somebody made this :D

win 4ks are quite trivial nowadays ;)
But it is still the idea that counts... coding for windows eats up to 1k for imports and file format stuff, but on the other hand you get a much more powerful API.
Guess why 4k becomes more and more popular even for 4k´s (which was called to be impossible two years ago ;-)

Note that you should get the final version if you use a card which is only capable of 16 bit rendering like several cheap laptop and onboard chips as well as Voodoo 3 cards. Owners of a Voodoo add-on card can use the 2ndcard version included in the final as well.
Note that the final now works under Win95 without any system library updates.
