This was very neat as well. As for the date, I'm pretty sure we are talking 1990. Raytraced scrollers are forever!
Archmage: Yes it was coded around those days but released as late as The Gathering 1994. Hence the name :)

@steel&stingray, quick glimpse at the exe revives that cubes are pre-rendered, and then vector font is overlayed on top of that, following the cube animation.
cool looking effect anyway. I like it that much that I'm actually quite tempted to try something similar only with 100% code. ;)
