okay, very nice graphics with terrible music and weak effects. all in a cracktro... so this is bad.
not too shabby but i am missing some smoothening on the font because it looks awful on TFTs that don't run at the cracktro resolution (this is really a problem for some demos and makes them look quite ugly if you watch on a TFT).
AbcuG!: no offense but have you ever thumbed up a cracktro? Anyway i respect your position and you thumbed up some of my work ;P but it seems to me that you dont like cracktros in genrell.

Nice graphics, but for the love of God(dess), please look up "bilinear filtering" in the dictionary and make your font look less ugly. Also, the visual composition is a bit awkward.. there should be atleast a fade in the effect window. And starfields are pushing it, it's 2005 people!

i think the font'n'gfx combined make it look a bit defender of the crown'ish, to make a weird comparison but i dunno , me likes!

It isn't ugly. But that's all. The size isn't impressive, and vectorballs done in software don't impress me neither. Ah well. It ain't ugly.. so.. OK, all in all.
sad effects, crap font, nice pillar-graphics, ok hoodlum logo and a plain shit soundtrack.. so thumb goes down

Very moody with the style from the PC AD 1995 =). The tune sounds familiar... Adlib-like. But WTF? Who greeted the GODS from almighty Ikari+Talent ?

the jerky scroller gives an instant bad impression..
There are other Hoodlum intros that rules much more.
No way... The greetings are funny. I guess several of the people who did this intro(!) were wearing pampers back then ;)

Whats so special about software-rendering if there isn´t even 3D ? Ofcourse you can code everything on a framebuffer, easy, no need for any oGL or directX! SW-rendering gets a bit harder when you try 3D tho :p thats what ppl spend applause for...not for the sw-rendering itself, but the effects done without hardware-acceleration!
Music bores the hell out of me, doesnt even sound good! And rendered graphics suck! try setting your photoshop-brush to pencil, 1px, zoom in and start pixeling already!
