use it, improve it, share it
Heh, I was going to add my tool when I had some time to port it to the new system :)
I missed the price giving ceremony, but for what you showed me after that it seemed really goodlooking!

really cool. :) the only bad thing i can see about it is that in compos with many contributions, there is no suspense when revealing the 1st place, since you can clearly see who won.

you're right gloom, I was thinking about that when I was doing the tool, I had the idea to don't stop the bars, just increment increment and show the third, then the second, and then when you show the first position all the other bars then go back to the real position. but was a thought in a very advanced state and was a bit weird.

What I wanted to do was just an easy to control and simple tool for the ceremony (breakpoint did it wrong as well, they said the three first positions and then the orgos were asking who is first? who is second of all the people that came in to the stage).

Obviously some of the entries that we add on the results where not real (a shame that we had to do that, but somehow was funny.. was more funny when the showman said "hey! little bitchard got the third position! is him here? c'mon come to the stage!").. hehe!

Just uploaded a new version of the file with a proper documentation of the system on the READMEFIRST.txt file (in the case you want to reuse it).

403... remember to update the permissions (the default permission scheme on scenesp is... well... weird :) )

wouldn't it be funnier if the score bars have different progress speeds ? :>

also, the strings with the encoded results come from a little backend that we have for helping us in the results calculation. I'm thinking about release it publicly as a nice set for party orgos but still will have to clean up the code and translate all the comments to english (although there are lots of them in english yet). Just wondering how to mix all together... :)
mmm.. I think there is a great system out there that does all that (breakpoint/TUM one). but what they were doing wrong is what I wanted to show releasing that one.
