I guess you changed the demo quite a bit after seeing that wild-compo, right? :/
Disturbing.
Nice feeling. But it's just based on its emotional effect. It ends up seeming rather sterile for these reasons. Another point is that the effect requires a huge sound-system, and an audience unable to change the sound volume. Both things are probably not available at home (Unless you somehow tie yourself up on your chair)
Big time respect for the infotext. Fuckings to narrowminded morons.
Unfortunately I can't say the demo itself would have had much impact on me.. at least on the big screen, might watch this again after some decent sleep.

hornet: well, the truth is: Yes, I did. I was fixing some blendmode stuff (ATi vs. NVidia), I gave respect to Nosfe too (shame on me, I forgot it), and then we wrote the readmefirsttxt. That's all. 99.99% of the demo was done days before the party.
But anyway, I was proud to scare the sh*t out of the ppl. ... Thanks Kb! :]

didn't like it.. lacked enough feeling to keep it from getting boring for me. Some nice bits tho, and the bit where the tune "kicks in" was good, or would be if there was a way to turn the volume down on my headphones without exiting the demo ;)

The audience reaction was priceless, *especially* considering what happened during the wild compo. I'll never forget that -- boos, people shouting "boring", then BLAMMO! It was great, and jeers changed to cheers. (For the most part.) Lovely.

a) sudden big volume change - warnings in info are nice ediquite
b) after this; heaps of continual visual movement to do just to music. that's what seperates this from the likes of chimera,
