Yeah, was cool to see a vcs-demonstration at the partyplace.
Emulators:
StellaX (which I used till now) couldn't run it (don't know how it is with the newest version).
z26, which was mentioned in the info-file does this pretty good, but I needed to switch on my crt because it fucks up with the refresh-rate (my TFT doesn't like this).
Anyway, the demo was it worth. :)

You mean the background graphics, which is 20 bits in total actually, while the background is 40 lo-res pixels across the screen. This means that to do something like the Vantage logo at the top you have to refill the background graphics registers mid-scanline.

Oldest VCS prod on pouet, now with YouTube goodness. The music is rather good considering. The Atari logo is done neatly (reflected P1). Only a single screen, but it does have a lot of interesting stuff going on, like the starfield on top.

The music is a bit repetitive and the screen design is not very good, but hey! There are multiple effects stacked on top of each other per scanline, and lots to see, and considering this is one of the pioneering VCS demos for the demoscene, this is great!
