just rewatched it, and i must say that this is the strongest and scaries demo i've ever seen. everything is absolutely perfect - the goal is to create a mood, and it gets created no matter what. the picture with the girl with white eyes and open mouth, when the music suddenly stops at the same time - BRILLIANT! seriously one of the best scene products when it comes to overall composition. one has the feeling that there is a story line which is strong and subtle at the same time, and yet told in some foreign language, where only the emotions reach the recipient - the viewer goes through the whole scale of emotions, yet only guessing what is causing these emotions on the factual side.

this time i'll say no to this. reminds me some dark city, yes, but as a production barely touches demoscene aspect (except touching z80 in 21st century). the only innovation here is a test for a person watching ... ok, the reward is in final stage, thank god. anyway, great to see that skrju developed their approach in recent prods.

I don't know what to say. This is one of the most powerful demoscene productions I know of. It's not a demo really, I feel that's a to narrow box to fit this in. This is a mix between Chris Marker's La Jetée and Tarkovsky's The Mirror, and all that saturated with pure catharsis. Skrju really is above almost everyone else when it comes to abilities of (especially creative) means of storytelling. I could reiterate what dipswitch wrote before, but he put it so perfectly there's nothing more from me to add. These aren't just empty words of praise, this is GOOD.
