For CPC is the best thing I have seen until now!
I saw it for the first time yesterday :)
Well, it's only soft code (a few hardware tricks, for the intro, and for lowering screen size, well done!), a lot of effects, but some are messy. I agree: a lot of pixels move, but what an effect? what is it? Rotozoom is nice and viewable, but after, there is interlaced deformations that aren't nice, or other effects that can't be understood.
I can't say "It rulez", rather "It's Ok". Moving pixels is great, technical, but please don't put messy effect.

A very nice Overlanders demo. Even if the design is too static...
The 1st demo I saw when I was back on CPC. I was impressed by the effects.
Could seem a little bit out of date now, but at this release period it was a revolution ! Strong code, sweet design and great musics... If you have to see 3 demos on CPC, look this one.

Many hidden innovations in this demo single-load, especially the player, still rocking the scene, proper transition from the AMSDOS, the first "kindof" offset mapping routine, an original zoomer, ...

For me it is the best CPC demo until now!
All the stuff, rotozoomer, plasmas, distortion, texture, light mask, 3YM Musics, e.t.c. are loaded in 128kb ram and it doesn't need the disk anymore. This means that there can be a way that we see trackmo style demos on CPC like the ones on C64 and not lame menu and scrollers like most of the older CPC Demos...
