Slaytanist: now creating fake accounts? That Beast crew joke is not funny, you know that, right?
Slaytanist: I don't want to go crazy, but I've made the little effort to make myself a cool avatar, so please do the same. Or ask somebody do make you one.
Apologies to p01, I'll change my avatar right now. I found the one I wanted to use was 32x32 so I picked one off the gallery I liked temporarily, I'll change it now to something more neutral and again once I've made what I want. Really sorry for offending you.
Keops, obviously I didn't mean my comments as a direct slight on awesome coders like yourself. Sorry if it came out like that. If a distinguished coder had released this I wouldn't have thumbed it. But yes, I found it funny, and my comment was sincere. I like their sense of humour, and I think like a sense of style that makes it worth thumbing. Sorry if I'm confused. I never said the code was awesome, or the graphics were technical, or the music was less than aweful in other than a few cases I found really quite cool in a deviant sort of way, well constructed with a really cool tune although not exactly technical.
If you think I'm in TBC, or a friend of, note I've only commented on a few and only thumbed a couple of them. If it's because of my lame name, I understand. If it's because I've not got prods to my name to date, fair enough, I'll change the thumbs and get off your board. I've seen enough Atari demos to have an opinion, I'm not just some lamer who tripped over this looking for SNES ROMs, and I'm aware the ST is capable of so much more mainly due to coders like yourself. Virtual Escape totally blew me away, and I'll always rate such mammoth efforts over prods like this. I thumbed this because I liked it. One day I'll go and thumb all my favourites, demos I like because of technical code or design. I thumbed these first because they're new and they're always on DHS and atari-forum and, to be honest, I'm too shy to run around kissing the asses of my idols quite yet. Not saying anyone here does. With no prods to my name though, that's what I'd be doing.
Sorry again, really. If your still offended after that then I'll change the thumbs man, seriously. I really, really rate your prods, and especially Virtual Escape, and an ultra-oldskool screen by a new group with even the greatest sense of humour can't shine a candle a masterpiece.
