Not all music disks have to be chip disks, you know... This music disk however, sounds a little too much like elevator music :P

Tomaes truesay. But in fact this arent worth it's 27 meg. Not one tune in there that couldnt have been released as mod. and thus save the downloader a massive 15 meg or more. Im not impressed at all. Its not like its bad music, its just not going anywhere, and arent all that well produced.
ofcourse worth the Download. At least for the nice Tracks!.. The gfx is not my taste ;)
I think it's too big, 27Mb could be only for a wild prod :P
However, not bad tracks and ok gfx :)

Music-wise, this is fantastic and one of the best recent music demos I've downloaded.
Otherwise, it's completely stark and uninteresting; no frills or presentation, just a basic player. I love the dimlight alley theme (reminds me a little of Silents Blues House), but having Windows peering from behind the player kills the atmosphere in my opinion.
So as much as I love the music and the theme, the production value is pretty poor and a lot of potential has been wasted here.
A full screen mode with just a little animation or lighting effects could have made a big impression.
Nonetheless, it gets my vote for the amazing music.

very nice musics
nice musics. I don't know whether it worth 27 megs or not, but it is very nice...
(Wade: you know there are some people -like me ;-) - bitching when a music disk is a fullscreen application, stating they want to listen to it as a background music while doing something else...
while this is still my standpoint, i have to admit that tracks as athmospheric as these might work with fullscreen too... (as an option) )

I see your point Foolman. I guess I like to be completely immersed in a prod and prefer the old style Amiga music disks with lots of scrollers, effects, a little game or maybe a slideshow to keep me entertained while I enjoy the music. I also think that these musicians have worked long and hard on these tracks and really deserve more of a build up in an opening sequence or alike.
But I agree that a fullscreen mode as an option would be the ideal solution for everyone.
I also agree with TMB about the size, and the download link is probably much quicker than Kazaa, Winmx etc anyway.

The tunes are good, the interface is ok, and download size is irrelevant in a world of cable modems and 60 gig hard disks.
A few pretty good tunes, worth a shot,
great :)
in 2003 people complained about something being 27 meg? o_O

okkie: not everyone has been having free university leechernet since 2000 - in fact, some people are still waiting for fast net today (and it took up to 2009 until I got mine)
Besides, nice musicdisk/tunes - though converting a tracker tune into a midquality mp3 is sorta awkward...
