I just can't belive the size of this demo, maybe there should be some limit to how much bitmaps and precalc is allowed in oldschool?

Yes, most of the filesize is the GS soundtrack... the AY-only copy I made for presentation was 47K. (Somehow I don't think the jury and AV crews would have enjoyed waiting 30 minutes for it to load from tape...). The only precalc in the entire demo is the mandelbrot data (approx 20K unpacked), and that's NOT a simple animation either.

Just a question - Gasman, have you really connected a GS to your speccy, or you just use emulators for GS listening? =)

I found the MOD here http://modarchive.org/download.php/Y/yerzmyey_-_alienate.mod it works on PC strangely, though. Need to set on FastTracker in WinAMP.

I think this was my first spectrum demo. While it's a shame that it needs 45 minutes to load on a +2 even tho the GS soundtrack won't work, it's still a quite enjoyable demo.
