I have no idea about Neo Geo, other than it's pretty weird and no framebuffer but tons of sprites, and still the whole thing is one of the slickest visually clean I have seen in old school.

Just plain awesome. I can't grasp how the hell it didn't win when it clearly played in a different league.
I fucking loved it. I assume the machine is not as oldskool though, which would explain the second place, but as I was born way after all these machines, I really appreciate the aesthetic rather than the technical prowess, and this was just smooth.

Thanks for the lovely comments. It has been a real pleasure and an honour to work with these awesome and talented people. The level of colaboration was great to see. I don't think there is a single scene in this where input and ideas hasn't come from multiple people.
Sadly it seems even with my best efforts a NeoGeo CD version will not materialise. Sync just isn't happening. As for the AES, we suspect there might be a sync issue which is very easily fixed, but we're just waiting on some additional hardware.
For those of you not considering this an "old school" platform, yeah I get it. We're on one of the most powerful sprite based systems within this category / generation. But I checked the rules with the compo organisers long before Revision and felt that it was more at home here than in wild. Besides, we are at least the 3rd Neo Geo release at Revision within an Old School category, it's just you can't find them.. can we get a category now please?
For the TTE crew I'll be covering this on stream later tonight, going through how each scene works and some of the framework. And in the hope that we can get more people involved in the fab platform, we'll be releasing the code very soon.
