- hey scamp, you should relax a bit, because I believe nobody should ever take a pole declaring setting up a dedicated irc-bot at demoparty serious. dude, that was just ironic :) we're not even bringing a damn laptop, because we don't need it.

- three thumbs up (I spent some time out in a Chernobyl:) for Shifter. And no for the hacking-thing, it's still your favourite sneaky polish bastard.
One more remark on Scamp. If I was Freud, I would say he's picking on Unlock due to serious disorder of his sexual life, but since I am definitely not a Freud, I won't say that :) Scamp, why don't you come over to the fireplace at BP04 and have some beer with marketing-addicted fellaz, huh? At least you'll be able to see who really throws the chairs into the fire and not just point the finger of blame randomly at Silentriot who's been doing a lot of freaky things except of that you accussed him of :)
Sweet kisses to anyone I know, incl. Scamp :) Argh, dude, I cannot picking on ya rite now! Look what you've done! I hope I will get better by the time I arrive to Breakpoint... hehe.

- Btw. Scamp, I don't think anybody gives a fuck whether you come :) I am sure you'll spend this time way more interesting making new friendships on ircnet :P

- And c'mon, just don't bullshit that they are people who won't visit Buenzli just because they didn't like the promotion.
To tell you the truth, it is not even a decent excuse for the lamers who come to party to spend it in front of a computer talking on IRC. C'mon, who the fuck comes to the party to chat on irc? You can do it at home. The party is meant to get people in REAL touch, to share the scene mood, etc. And if you still decided to spend your time in front of a computer screen, well, don't bullshit about disturbing bots. Perhaps we should consider bringing irc-deciated computer to BP04 and make it repeat "turn off your computer, join the REAL party outside the hall" message on irc every 15 minutes?
All I want you to understand, that the major principle behind the demoscene is the diversity. I don't like something, you don't like something. I party one way, you party yet another one. There's place for me, and place for you. But why the hell pick on things like that? Advertising is good and we (MWI, Symphony Orgaz) do quite the same, even FAR MORE INTENSIVELY. And yes, it worked last year. For the first time ever, polish party was visited by foreign guests from many countries.

- Hey Scamp, I think you have an inferiority complex or something similiar. Let me please explain you, that an intensive marketing indeed helps to attract people to party rather than reject them from the idea of showing up.
Equally, if there's something that may actually piss people off is your moaning and grumbling. Do it your own way if you don't like it, but just don't judge on everybody around without having anything consistent to say. And it is not the first time you've been doing this. No offence. - rulezadded on the 2003-12-31 18:35:46

- demo Amiga PPC/RTG own love balance by MadWizards [web]
- Actually, we have been discussing the things with guys over hear and you won't be surprised if I tell you we feel AmigaPPC (especially the PegasOS) hasn't got anything to do with Amiga anymore. At least that is the way we feel it. Each single demo released on this platform (although it is an Amiga one) shall perhaps be treatet as a console or wild demo. It can compete with most of the PC demos as they look now (haha), but it is really pity only few people can see it live (not as a divx, which is only a substitute and gives like 5% of the satisfaction).
Given the circumstances, I am not quite sure which way will we go. On one hand, we have this Amiga spirit and feel PC is not the answer. On the other, we're being criticized for using PPC... yet the 68060 is not the solution at all since it can in no respect compete with PC, while PPC successfully can. Damn it. We'll keep you updated, check our website.

- OK NOW, DON'T TALK BULLSHIT: it is an AmigaPPC demo. it doesn't require PegasOS. It works fine with every single "old" AmigaPPC provided you got MorphOS installed. DIvx is on the way.
