Groovy track indeed, and the visuals work well.

For the record - that's my first bigger piece of code I dare to publish so, please, be gentle ;)

haha, this is rad :D hard not to feel like this would've been better as part of a larger demo, and perhaps with some logo deformation, but I think it's pretty nice as-is :)

also +1 for lots of sync, that made this a lot more fun than it looked in the screenie :)

Neat!

Some technicalities:

- my own rudimentary sample player using waveform method (restarting phase of triangle wave with appropriate pitch - identical with THCM routine), updated every 2nd rasterline which results in sample frequency of approximately 7812Hz
- sample data stored as 4bit and decompressed/quasi interpolated in runtime
- sample buffer split in two parts across the screen (78 bytes each)
- rasterbars updated in NMI calls together with sample output
- controller routine, which retrieves parameter/marker from Goat Tracker tune, modifies current sample pointer, all colours and opcode for operations done on rasterbars' colours (AND/EOR/ORA)
- text scroll updated in main loop (together with available rastertime in scroll area) to suck on every cycle available and keep up with frame (now, that was a bitch!)
- everything uses first memory bank strictly which was most probably unnecessary on my part and only made life harder :D
